European Society For Opinion And Marketing Research


Is one of the world's leading associations bringing together experts in the field of public opinion research and market research.


It was founded in September 1948, when 29 leading European researchers met in order to create an international professional association.


The purpose of the association was the desire to promote development and promotion of market research in Europe and other countries. Today ESOMAR has over 4,000 individual members in 100 countries.


Its headquarters is located in Amsterdam (Holland).
The main objective of membership in the Association is exchange between researchers from around the world of professional experience, and the latest advances in research methodology, and obtained researches.


Membership in the association is strictly personal and provides international recognition of expert in the field of research.


In early 2007, the Director of the CIOM company Alimbekova Gulzhan Toktamysovna became a member of ESOMAR.


ESOMAR is the first organization that has raised the issue of protecting the rights of respondents, regardless of the nature and methods of research.
