On May 3-4, 2016 employees of CIOM have taken part in spring session of young sociologists and social workers of Kazakhstan which has taken place in Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within this action has taken place the lecture and a master class of professor of the European university in St. Petersburg Sokolov Mikhail Mikhaylovich on a subject: "The cultural capital and status symbolism in Post-Soviet society". Professor Sokolov is known as one of leading experts in the field of sociology of the academic world and microsociology, the Russian sociologist, the candidate of sociological sciences, professor of Faculty of political sciences and sociology of the European university in St. Petersburg.
