The Public Opinion Research Center invites you to the 5th offline meet-up

On March 26, 2026, the Center for the Study of Public Opinion will hold its fifth offline meet-up on the topic “The Digital Transformation of Social Research: Python, AI, and the Path to Scopus.”

Doctoral candidates, master’s students, undergraduate students, and early-career researchers interested in developing contemporary research competencies in data analysis, digital tools, and academic writing are invited to participate.

The meet-up program is посвящена? translate naturally: is dedicated to the changes that are currently transforming the everyday practice of social research. The focus will be on the applied use of neural networks in social research, an introduction to Python for social research, approaches to optimizing a researcher’s working time, as well as a professional discussion of the academic path from a research idea to the publication of an article in a Scopus-indexed journal.

The meeting is designed as a practical and substantive discussion of which skills are becoming decisive for the contemporary researcher and how digital tools can strengthen the quality, depth, and effectiveness of research work.
